Hancock (SPOILERS!!!)
This was pretty entertaining. Once again, Will Smith's stretching himself out of his usual persona as he plays an alcoholic bum super-hero who causes more carnage 'rescuing' people than he prevents.
It's nice that this is a universe with super-heroes in that actually glosses over a lot of the origin story (he's one of 2 surviving 'gods', a group of super-powered functionally immortal people who are over 4,000 years old.)
I wn't ruin it for you, but it's a hell of a twist and a surprise when the other survivor shows up and it's also a neat twist that they lose their powers when they spend too much time in close proximity to one another...
Will Smith is good, as are Jason Bateman as Ray the PR man who straightens Hancock out and Charlize Theron as Ray's wife Mary. the direction is good and the effects are incredible.
